As part of the Foundation Grant Awards an ECG machine was purchased for the benefit of cardiac rehabilitation patients attending the Sunrise Centre.
Arriving to the service in late 2020 the machine has already benefited over 30 patients, this has meant they have been able to avoid presenting to University Hospital Geelong or their GP for an ECG and were able to receive the testing within the Sunrise Centre.
Cardiac Rehab Coordinator Roschelle and Registered Nurse Andrew are pictured with the ECG machine which has allowed the cardiac rehab team the ability to provide holistic care to patients at one location.
The Barwon Health Foundation Grant Awards were introduced to ensure the Foundation are investing in the items and projects of greatest priority and need across Barwon Health.
