Jaxx is shaving his dreadlocks

Hi, my name is Jaxx, I am 12 years old, I have had dreadlocks for over six years and they have become a big part of my identity. 

I have gotten many compliments over the years from people liking them. I never thought I would ever have to get rid of my dreadlocks and don’t really want to but I am moving schools next term and have been told I can’t keep them. 

I’ve decided to make something good come from it and that’s to raise money for a good cause and I’ve chosen “Sharing Tulli’s Smile”. 

I think knowing that I’ve raised money to help sick kids smile through music will help me feel better about cutting my dreads, after all it is just hair.

About Sharing Tulii's Smile Fund: 
Our purpose is to raise funds for a permanent music therapy program, run by a registered music therapist, on the children’s ward at Barwon Health's University Hospital Geelong  for many children in our community to benefit from in memory of Tulli Rose.
