Celebrate the 'Why' behind your run
Barwon Water Gratitude Way is a new addition to the 2025 City of Greater Geelong Run 4 Geelong event. It is an opportunity to share messages of gratitude and your reason for participating in this special event, in support of our local health service.
Along the course, you’ll find a giant digital screen displaying messages and photos of hope, love, remembrance, and thanks. It’s our way of highlighting the powerful reasons that inspire each participant to take part.
Whether you’re running, walking, rolling or strolling in loving memory of a family member, to thank an incredible Barwon Health team or health care worker, or to celebrate your own health journey, your story deserves to be shared to inspire all those within our community.
How it works
- Submit a short message (maximum 25 words) and photo telling us why you’re taking part in Run 4 Geelong.
- Your message and photo will appear on the Gratitude Way big screen, on course, at Run4Geelong.
- As you walk, run or roll through the Barwon Water Gratitude Way, you’ll see your message of gratitude come to life, inspiring everyone around you.
