2026 City of Greater Geelong Run4Geelong Community Cup
1. Organiser
The 2026 City of Greater Geelong Run4Geelong Community Cup ("Competition") is organised by Barwon Health Foundation ("Organiser") and proudly supported by Community Care Chemist ("Sponsor").
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Competition is open only to schools, sporting clubs, and community groups located within the City of Greater Geelong.
2.2 Barwon Health teams and employees of the Organiser or Sponsor, and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate.
2.3 By entering, all participants confirm they meet the eligibility criteria. The Organiser reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time.
3. Registration
3.1 Teams must register to participate in Run4Geelong 2026 via the official registration process.
3.2 Each registered participant counts as one towards the team's total number of participants.
3.3 Teams with the highest number of registered participants will be ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd accordingly.
4. Competition Period and Winner Selection
4.1 The Competition period runs until Saturday, 7 November 2026, 3pm.
4.2 Winners will be determined based on the total number of registered participants in each team.
4.3 The winning teams will be announced on Sunday, 8 November 2026, at the City of Greater Geelong Run4Geelong event.
4.4 The Organiser's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Prizes
5.1 Prizes for the top three teams are sponsored by Community Care Chemist and are as follows:
2nd Prize: $1,500
3rd Prize: $500
5.2 Prize funds must be used exclusively for health and wellbeing initiatives approved by the Barwon Health Foundation. Approval is at the sole discretion of the Barwon Health Foundation.
5.3 Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.
5.4 The Organiser reserves the right to substitute prizes with prizes of equal or greater value without notice.
6. Use of Prize Funds
6.1 The winning teams agree that prize monies will be spent solely on approved health and wellbeing initiatives by their community group, school, or sporting club.
6.2 The Barwon Health Foundation must approve all initiatives prior to the use of prize funds. The decision to approve or reject any initiative is at the sole discretion of the Barwon Health Foundation and is final.
6.3 Winning teams must provide reasonable documentation or proof of expenditure to the Organiser and Barwon Health Foundation upon request.
7. General Conditions
7.1 By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
7.2 The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.
7.3 The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation or prize acceptance.
7.4 The Organiser may use participants' names, photographs, and entries for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.
7.5 All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Organiser's privacy policy.
