The course

Two laps of the waterfront

A fast loop run twice, starting and finishing on Ritchie Boulevard. You will pass the Event Village, the crowd and the finish arch on your way through lap one, which is either motivating or cruel depending on how the day is going.

Waterfront the whole way

Almost entirely along the water, with one climb to get over on each lap. Scenic, and quick once you are past it.

Two laps

One loop, run twice. Easy to pace, and you know exactly what is coming the second time around.

Start and finish together

Both on Ritchie Boulevard, right by the Event Village, so your people can watch you start and be there when you finish.

21.1km, and the whole town watching

The half marathon starts first, so you will be out on course while the waterfront fills up behind you. By the time you come through for your second lap there are thousands of people in red, and most of them will cheer for anyone.

Why we run

More than a fun run. It’s our region, together, for local healthcare.

Almost every one of us has been touched by the care of Barwon Health. Run4Geelong is the morning we say thank you and give back.

Every registration helps the Barwon Health Foundation invest in equipment, research and facilities that help Barwon Health look after our growing region. Whichever distance you pick, that is what you are running for.
