On the 5th May every year, Midwives are celebrated across the globe with this date being recognised as The International Day of the Midwife. This celebration puts the spotlight on this centuries-old occupation and the difference midwives, midwifery students and Maternity Service workers make to the lives of expectant mothers across the world. At Barwon Health, Midwives appreciate any support you can provide. Our fundraising page is to go toward the aids, equipment and facilities necessary to support our role and to replenish and improve our facilities and equipment in the Maternity services at the University Hospital Geelong. Our fundraising will continue throughout the year to enable Midwives to continue to support women and babies. All funds will go directly to the maternity services.
