Refund Policy

Refund Policy

General Policy

All ticket purchases for the Gala Ball are considered final. As this is a fundraising event, proceeds support the charitable work of the foundation, and refunds are generally not available.

Change of Circumstances

If you are unable to attend the event:

  • Tickets may be transferred to another guest by notifying the event organisers in advance.
  • Alternatively, the ticket cost may be treated as a tax-deductible donation (where applicable under Australian law).

Exceptional Circumstances

Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness or emergency) may be considered at the discretion of the organisers. Supporting documentation may be required.

Event Changes or Cancellation

If the event is cancelled by the organisers, ticket holders will be offered:

  • A full refund OR the option to convert the ticket into a donation.

If the event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Refunds may be offered if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event.

Non-Attendance

Failure to attend the event does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.

Ticket Transfers

All transfer requests must be submitted in writing (email) at least 7 days prior to the event. The organiser reserves the right to refuse late transfer requests.

Processing of Approved Refunds

Where refunds are approved, they will be processed using the original payment method within 7 days, less any applicable booking or transaction fees.
