In support of excellence in community palliative care
Tuesday 4th Feb Therese was a wife, mother, and friend as well as a GP who trained at Geelong Hospital and with Dr Trevor Banks in Belmont in the 1980s.It was important to her and her family that she returned to the Surfcoast at the end of her too-short life, where she died in 2024 with her customary grace and love.
Barwon Health's community palliative care team made this time one of comfort rather than suffering. Their work deserves all our support.
