The Walk
I’m walking over 400km across the Simpson Desert to raise money for Barwon Health's Andrew Love Cancer Centre at University Hospital Geelong.
From Dalhousie Springs in the west to Big Red sand dune in the east, I’ll be trekking around 30km a day for 14 days as I forge my way to the Birdsville pub for a well-earned cold beer.
My wife Wendy received great care at the Andrew Love Centre whilst undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
Unfortunately, she succumbed to her cancer but the care and support she received throughout helped us all get through this difficult time. Please support me in raising money for this most worthwhile cause.
