I'm fundraising for...
My name is Fiona Grech and l am known for my smile and the cheer l brought to our patients, families, staff and visitors in the lead up to Christmas by dressing up in various costumes whilst working in the Transit Lounge.
I have been employed by Barwon Health for 6 years as a Patient Service Assistant. My position and staff have given me the strength required to cope with losing my beloved Dad to the dreaded ' C ' word. I was with him throughout his journey alongside my precious Mum , brother and our families. We will never understand the depths of what Dad and other patients are feeling when faced with this hurdle in life. There were highs and lows but what got us through was the smile on Dads face because of the wonderful care he received. Reception staff, nurses, Psa's, domestic staff and the volunteers are to be commended for their efforts. As a family we will always be forever grateful.
The staff on HW6 and ALCC always had a smile on their face and a joke to share. This always made gloomy days much brighter. They touched our hearts more than they can ever imagine. So on October 9th - 2021 ( Dads Anniversary ) ♡ l am taking the plunge by losing my ' LOCKS ' to give back to these two areas and to keep Dads memory alive.♡
