Give the gift of good health!
A planned gift is a special way to support Barwon Health, and create a lasting legacy.
You can remember your community's health service in your will with a bequest, make a gift of life insurance, donate a gift of shares, property, or make another gift. By making a planned gift in your will, you will be leaving a legacy of inspired care and amazing research.
You may nominate an area of our health service that you wish to specifically benefit from your gift or decide that it should be left to the area of greatest need. It is entirely up to you and all instructions are carefully adhered to with a strict governance structure administered by our independent Barwon Health Foundation Board of Directors.
It doesn’t matter how large or small your gift might be, as each and every gift can make an enormous positive impact on the region’s future healthcare needs.
If you would like to have a confidential discussion about your wishes or would like more information on what a bequest could achieve for our health service, please call us.
We would be most happy, should you wish, to arrange a tour of facilities, a discussion with one of our senior clinicians or just a confiential chat on the impact your gift may make.
Planned giving donors become part of the Malloy Society in recognition of Tim Malloy who, in 1849 gave the very first bequest to assist in establishing the Geelong Hospital. As a member, you will be invited to recognition events, hospital tours and educational gatherings. You may have your name – or your family’s name – listed on our Lasting Legacy Tree and in Foundation publications, or if you prefer, your gift can remain anonymous.
Your lawyer, accountant, or financial planner can assist you to determine what kind of planned gift would be best for you, your family, and your estate.
If you would like more information, including our free Bequests Information pack, please contact Francis Trainor on 4215 8900 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Your inquiry and any information exchanged will be held in strictest confidence.
