We have so much to be grateful for, living in this wonderful region of Geelong.
It is where many of us have lived and worked our entire lives; it’s where we have been raised or, for some, it is where we have settled, perhaps to raise our own families.
Apart from the natural beauty, lifestyle and amenities of the region, we are also fortunate to have a public health service that cares for us right through our life’s journey - from birth to our final days and everything in between.
All right here in Geelong, and available to everyone.
With thanks to the extraordinary support of people like you, for many years the Barwon Health Foundation has provided funding to provide an extra level of patient comfort and care, accessibility to life-saving and life-changing medical equipment and research allowing new medicines and interventions to be available to our community through clinical trials.
We work to support Barwon Health in providing what our community truly deserves - the very best care.
Importantly, the investment in our local health service also ensures that the community retains the brightest minds, the very best clinicians, outstanding researchers and dedicated health care workers in Geelong to care for us when we are in need.
Enclosed are some details of opportunities for giving at tax time that we hope you might consider supporting.
Right now we are looking to support the following Barwon Health services and facilities:

Fill the gap required to deliver the highly anticipated Kids Rehabilitation Centre at the McKellar site in North Geelong;

Support the much-needed refurbishment of the McKellar Centre Palliative Care Unit;

Assist cutting edge medical research through ground-breaking clinical trials conducted by the Adrian Costa Clinical Trials Centre;
-
Adding to the much needed resources for mental health services; and
- Caring for those who require cancer services both in the hospital and the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.
