I’m Dr Claire Cattigan, Director of Barwon Health’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at University Hospital Geelong. I am incredibly proud of our ICU team. They are remarkable, resilient people committed to caring for the community.
At Barwon Health, we are lucky to have the very best who, every day, stand ready to save the lives of those in our community who are critically ill. Health services around the world are facing major challenges with the emergence of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and Barwon Health is there for our community.
The fact remains that our hospital and ICU teams are busy every day, not just in response to COVID-19, and I want to assure you that my team at Barwon Health, and my other colleagues from across the organisation, are ready to respond and care for you now and into the future; This is where you can help.
